Why does my screen not work after replacing
I recently replaced my screen on my apple watch series 2, and after replacing neither the new or old screen lights up, but the haptic engine still works on the watch. @danj

You likely damaged the SIP connector. Take a well light and sharp photo of of the connectors post it in a fresh answer so we can see things.

Well it looks like the middle cable latch is missing on the display. As this appears to be a replacement part you should return it for another unit. While you could salvage the latch from the original part these tiny latches are easy to break or fly off! Then you can damage the base part so the latch doesn’t stay on.
