What do these screen issues indicate?

I have a Samsung A20 phone which I purchased in 2019 July. Since last 2.5 weeks, there is a thick white vertical line at the right corner of my screen. Since last 3-4 days, a small purple blotch appeared at the right bottom of my screen.

2 months ago, I got my screen replaced from a local store after the screen got blackened by dropping on floor.

That thick white line didn't occurred due to phone drop. I did all software troubleshooting methods but still not able to get rid of the line. Now I am facing another problem (purple botch). I wish I could fix this issue at home. I have no idea what is it. The white line started with one green vertical line at the beginning.

@goosefootba what you are describing sounds like a bad screen. This "a small purple blotch" would be a definite bad screen. Time to replace it and to see if that fixes it (yes, it will ;-)

Since iFixit does not yet have a specific guide for this, use something like this video to replace the screen. Replacements are readily available at many online stores.

While you work on your phone, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. That will help the next person that has a device with the same issues as you do. It's easy and fun to create these guides. https://ifixit.com/Guide/new The iFixit community will appreciate this.
