First of all get that SIM tray out of your mutt's stomach. Its metal, pointy, and one heck of a thing to pass naturally
Secondly you need to find a SIM card tray replacement, the size of the SIM card in your specific model is nano there is something like it here however if you go to your mobile service provider they may be able to provide you with a sim card tray

he just chewed it and spit it out. so that part i don't have to worry about.
i tried my provider and they are being !$$&*! about the whole thing so i have to get one elsewhere

Walmart has a lower spec version of this phone for $40 on numerous cheap prepaid carriers. Expensive for a sim tray, but you can swap out the main circuit board and have a brand new phone should you ever need any replacement parts. That's how I replaced a broken screen and scratched back cover.

There may be another option now if you haven't moved on yet. You will need to modify it by sanding the cover portion to fit the opening in the Vibe, but it seems like it would be functional once you do that.
