There is no release (or eject) hole in the CD unit.
Use a thin flat tool e.g. flat metal spudger or even a suitably thin knife etc and slide it gently under the CD tray, on the left side until you feel the catch release.

It didn't work. I felt something catch but which way should I move it? I tried up/down/right/left
didn't open.
