I'm pretty sure the phone is properly unlocked and i put my sim card in and activated it on my
phone plan and no matter where I go (places where on other phones i get great coverage) i get no signal, the simcards network providers are being detected but the network bar is always empty. Is this an issue with the phone, the carrier, unlocking, or just a bad antenna? what do i do to fix the problem?

Has the phone connected and worked OK before?
If you haven't already done so, try a network reset and check if that resolves the problem. Here's a video that shows what to do.

Did you factory restore it with the SIM card inserted?
If so, remove the SIM card and factory restore it again. Once it has fully restored, insert the SIM card and check.

Can you try a different provider's known working, compatible SIM card in the phone to check if it is unlocked on not?

@jayeff Thanks Jayeff, the phone is unlocked, I've tried different simcards of different providers but the result was the same

@jayeff yes it was working at first, this happened after resetting the whole phone system, and I have tried the network resetting just now, it didn't work
