PS4 doesn’t play games and needs software reinstall

Hello everyone,

My ps4 needs software reinstall quite frequently. It also doesn’t play the games. After reinstalling the software and installing the first game, that one game plays normal. After turning off the device and turning it on again, the game starts but after the intro it says that the data is corrupted and can’t play the game. After deleting and installing another game, that new game doesn’t play at all. Installing gets to 99% and it show the message that the data is corrupted and the game can’t be played

Console also gets overheating.

Hi!

Well probably the internal harddrive is going to die.... I recommend to replace it as soon as possible. You could replace it for an SSD. Less power consumption and way faster.

Regarding the overheating, for this you need to disassemble the PS4 and replace the thermal paste (you also could replace the thermal pads for optimal performance).

Hey, I changed the hard drive and everything seems good. The game installed successfully and I’m playing now without any problem. Time will tell.

I also put some new thermal paste and the fighter jet got out of my living room😂
