Computer keeps restarting upon startup and never progresses further.
Sometimes it starts completely but then turns off automatically after roughly half an hour.

What is the computer make and model?
Did you check the fan? is it spinning and is the fan blades and the heatsink fin area clean of dust buildup.
I would also look at getting a thermal management app for the OS you are running on this system so you can review the on system thermal sensors.

PC is on but nothing is showing on the display

I open it then it gets open but doesn't show any pictures just blank screen
