Please a metal screw fell inside the laptop, stacked between the metal that covers the cpu and the motherboard. I didn’t know so I connected my laptop charger to the laptop and the charger light went off. I tried this several times until I opened the laptop and removed the screw. Now the laptop turns on but the screen is off. When I connect to a monitor, it doesn’t show too. Please what could be the fault

You seem to have loosened the heat sink (that metal part) if the screw got trapped onto the motherboard than it is possible that you damaged the motherboard (really bad). You could also try to check the connection to the GPU and the actual card itself for damage and the fragile ribbon cables around it
