@suhask without seeing it and only going by your description, this sounds like a bad display. Of course you always want to check the flex cable as well as the connector. Check for corrosion, tears and bend/broken pins. Use this guide to work on it Pocophone F1 IPS LCD Screen & Digitizer Replacement
