It could be related to the charging brick you are using being rather low wattage, try using a more powerful charging brick or using a charging brick from a more well-known brand (since poorly made 3rd party charging bricks may cause issues) and see if that fixes your problem.
Also if you are directly plugging your phone into a computer or laptop's USB port then that might be your reason as the power delivered by those ports tends to be rather low.

I think it is something like 0.5A on the usb ports. Which at 5v means about 2.5w
In the case that he is, I would just say try and use a charging brick with a USB-C port instead of a USB-A port as that can support up to 5A.
How old is the unit? Do you use a compatible first party charger or a potentially faulty 3rd party charger? If I remember correctly usb can limit itself to 500ma (0,5A) if it doesn't get the right signals. which would be a reason for slow charging.
Please give more information on under what conditions you have slow charging so a more accurate diagnosis can be given.

@gabrielnakitare are you referring to slow charging vs fast charging or are you referring to your phone is charging the battery slow? Does it take longer to charge then what it did before? What have you checked?
