Battery change mAh difference - Will it work?

Hello everyone,

I finally got my 6 year old MSI GE72 2QE up and running again!

The battery was causing issues, so I removed it and now it works perfectly.

So I wanted to get a new battery, so my work won't get lost if I pull the plug or if there is a power outtage.

The battery there was IN the laptop ORIGINAL had 4730 mAH but the ones I see on EBAY is 5200 mAh, will there be any consequences with the difference in the mAh, since there also is a slight difference in the Volt and Ah (amps)

I am using below universal charger:

100-240V

2.2A - 50-60 Hz

19V - 7.89A

The original battery:

4730 mAH
51 Wh
10.86V - 4.73Ah

Replacement battery1:

5200 mAh

48 Wh

10.8V

Replacement battery2:

3834 mAh

41.40 Wh

10.8V - 3.834 aH

Since money is a bit short, and I want to get maybe one more year out of my MSI, I was thinking that a battery with shipping at 40€ is worth the deal.

@osuna15047 if the dimension of either one of the replacement batteries matches your original battery, and if the battery connector is identical, you can use either one. The voltages are within specs for your computer. the mAh just means how much energy your battery can store and supply, before it needs to be recharged. Of course, the larger the mAh, the longer it will also need to charge. You are fine with either one, for as long as the before mentioned connector etc. are identical.
