Drive is not loading disk

found the drive after a year forgotten in a backpack. had a disk inside.

Plugged in USB. I see the drive listed. Right click and eject, worked OK. Disk ejected.

Cannot load any disks. I press a new disk and would not load, even with force, get the disk in but does not load.

Do you hear the disk spinning? Also have you tried using a CD/DVD cleaning disk.
