My laptop applications are not opening it keeps saying "this is not a file type system information can open "

do any preinstalled applications work? (such as settings, Microsoft store, ect.)
have you tried reinstalling the applications that dont work?
Are they the right ones for your version of windows?

Id say reinstall the applications and if it still doesn't work then just reinstall windows
