Power steering not working

@mark74029 cars are surely getting complicated. A decade ago I would have said it's the pump :-) Anyhow, this is a bit different now. Your steering uses a power steering ECU that determines direction and the amount of assisting power based on multiple sensor inputs, and activates the power steering motor. Simplified of course. Looks like you will need to have your Corolla scanned to see if it shows you any kind of error.
