it not accepting any ram but the ram is working others computers like it

@tltq we need to know the exact model of your laptop as well as the exact type of your memory module. This sounds like an incompatibility issue

It can just be that the RAM needs to be reseated. I had the same problem on my ThinkPad, but reseating the RAM fixed the issue.
