Broken headphone jack port

Broke the headphone jack, the sound works but mic no longer works

Trying to find out if the headphone jack port part is the same, iv looked on here and evay and found ones thst work with original models but not sure if they will work on the OLED model and need to know before ordering

Eg Did you drop it or did it just randomly happen?

Headphones snapped off in there and had trouble getting it out, had to dig around in there abit to get it out and now when i plug in headphones there is sound but no microphone

So i need to replace the headphone jack port so im wondering if it is the same part or different one from the other models

Hi

Here’s the guide you will need

You can replace the whole board or replace the aux jack (the aux Jack replacement needs soldering the board doesn’t)
