Is proximity sensor changeable?
I bought Google pixel 3a with non-working proximity sensor. I wonder can I replace it by myself?

Part available online. Cheap part to be honest and no soldering required as it’s on a ribbon with a fpc connector. Follow this guide for the front camera replacement to gain access to the proximity sensor.

In theory it should be replaceable if the fact replacement proximity sensors are being sold and that it's replaceable on the 3a XL. I'm having a bit of a hard time finding the replacement guide for this specific device, but if you're feeling confident in repairing it on your own then definitely document your process for the rest of us.

Hi Eugene,
Just a quick sanity check; you have removed your screen protector and cleaned the screen, right? Simple fix that worked for several people, but a lot of times it doesn't occur to folks.
