Does an iPhone 7 plus have a fuse to stop the device from burning up
If so then where is it located exactly so I can maybe bypass it and get my phone turned back on thanking you for your time
Hi
There are many fuses as far as I know
To find out where they are I would need a schematic but if your iPhone isnt turning on there is most likely a reason for that so it’s best to fix the issue first before you jump a fuse as if it’s blown it’s blown for a reason
If you let me know what is wrong and what’s happened with your iPhone we can try and find out what’s causing you the issue
Hopefully this helps
Any questions please ask
Thanks:-)

@tommyhowins before even thinking on jumping the fuse you want to try to figure out what is going on with your phone. Get an inexpensive USB ammeter and check to see if your phone tries to draw any amps from the charger. (of course you checked the charger and the cable). After that you want to check the lightning code assembly and see if that looks good. Use a multimeter and measure the voltages on your battery. See what you have going on with that battery. before applying any jumpers (never a good idea) start thinking about replacing the lightning port and the battery then re-evaluate. If nothing else you can also try to turn it on with just barebone setup and the board removed from your phone. Plug the lightning port flex, the lcd display and the battery in. Then connect the charger and see if you get anything. Check your board for any damaged components etc. Again I would start with a new battery and a new lighting port first. You can always post pictures of your board with your QUESTION so we can see what you see. iFixitでの質問に画像を追加する方法 iPhone 7 PlusのLightningコネクタアセンブリの交換

@tommyhowins anything happened to your phone? Did it get dropped, does it charge, any water damage?
