I/O Grill Problem With GPU Upgrade

I am trying to upgrade my Mac Pro 2019 with a Radeon RX 6900 XT (it shows as a compatible card on the Apple site).

ISSUE: the card won’t fit with the I/O grill the way it is. (SEE PHOTOS)

QUESTION: am I missing something simple? I tried to remove the I/O grill, but I don’t see any tutorials for how to do that.

Thanks in advance!

Update (09/15/2022)

Thanks so much! Here's what I found out...

I haven't upgraded a major component or built a computer in over a decade (and that was Windows!), so I was out of practice.

I learned that PowerColor manufactures larger encasements for their cards. I have a GIGABYTE RX 6900 XT on order with a small chassis. It should work, and I will post an update.

It's hard to tell, is the metal frame bent?

Take a few pics looking at the side and ends straight on so we can see what is misshapen with the board.

I researched and found that manufacturers use different sizes for the case and card. I ordered a replacement from a manufacturer with specs that should fit. Will update after received and attempt...
