iPhone X replacement OLED screen operates by itself.

I recently replaced the screen on an iPhone X with a new iFixit OLED screen. Worked OK for a while but has started operating by itself i.e. screen moves, apps open it has even dialled an emergency number without human input.

I have switched off 3D touch and anything else I can think off but to no effect. I opened it up again and checked all the connections even replaced the battery and made sure the screws were tightened up to no effect.

Any suggestions on what may be causing this and possible solutions gratefully received.

Thanks for the advice. I cleaned the screen, body and case with IPA. I haven't ventured into the board yet as I wanted to see if that cured it first. It didn't, short video attached shows how it is behaving:

I've yet to check out the wiki linked by Alisha C, will do that now.

UPDATE: Kudos to the iFixit team, after I contacted them they sent not only a replacement screen but a new repair kit and seal. The phone is now on test with the new screen. Thanks to all those helped me out.

Hi

Your display may be faulty

But before we assume that could you try cleaning the connectors (both board and screen) with isopropyl alcohol,this will remove any invisible dirt that our human eyes can’t see

If that doesn’t work I would contact ifixit as from what your Questions description has said you have tried most things we would want you to try

More than likely this is an issue with the replacement screen. You can reference this wiki article which gives a pretty comprehensive list of causes for this issue to thoroughly investigate.

But it sounds like you have done the vast majority of this already. Ultimately I would recommend contacting iFixit's customer support.
