What is iPhone X Face ID Sensors paired to?

Hello, I am wondering what components on the motherboard are paired to the Face ID sensors. Would it be possible to swap the Face ID chips on the motherboard and then use the front camera which is paired to that chip in the phone? Would Face ID still work? Or is the Face ID paired to the CPU?

It is paired with the CPU which means you would have to transfer the CPU and nand and swap the bottom layer for the baseband and eeprom.
