paper in paper tray

Although I’m not familiar with this model, I have a CP 1518ni. It had the same problem — it would not pick up paper out of the cassette. This was due to old pick rollers which had degraded (cleaning did not restore them). Rubber has a lifetime. I got new ones and installed them (a pretty easy job) and it has worked perfectly since. Pick rollers for your model are available. Look at the installation procedure before you order to make sure it’s within your capabilities.
