hello, when i take my bronco out for a drive under my left foot area i feel & hear a loud knocking noise when i accelerate. anyone have an idea what that could be?

It's not from the engine compartment? Have you checked drive shaft? Does it only happen during acceleration? Or when moving forwards or reverse?
