Open up the Photo Booth app you should see your self! If you don’t its likely your iSight camera is not connected or its cable/connection is damaged.
Follow this guide for the first four steps (disconnecting the battery) " Unibody Mid 2012のロジックボードの交換 then, jump down Step 9 to check the camera connection.
