Charger cord blinking green

MagSafe charger LED blinks green and won’t charge. We ordered a new (knockoff) charging cable. Tried it cable in different outlets. We installed a new battery. Nothing helped.

I tried the D diagnostics on startup but it seemed to hang up after at about 80% done. It says Pass Number 1, total time testing 49 seconds and it just stays like that. I left it like that for 20 minutes. And since we put the new battery in (today) the battery indicator shows an X in it at first, then shows 81% in red. Here are screenshots from coconutbattery info.

Does the system start up at all? If it does lets get a better idea on what's happening.

I would startup running the onboard diagnostics. Press the D key when you restart the system. Let us know what the error is if you get one.

I would also install this gem of an app CoconutBattery take a snapshot of the apps main window and post it here for us to see iFixitでの質問に画像を追加する方法

The first image is telling me the batteries data is not getting to SMC, then the second appears to be working. Is this the same battery?

It also looks like the MagSafe is not connected when you took the snapshot was that correct? If not then we still have a problem with the chargers connection or the charger its self is bad. One of the problems we are now seeing lots of is knockoff chargers flooding the market! These cheap chargers often damage the system.

Yes, the coconutbattery screenshots were both taken while the new battery was in and the charger was connected. It changed after a few seconds.

The new charger I bought was off of ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/233614080666 I wonder if that could be the issue? But the charger light was blinking when I had my old charger too, and this one seemed to work at first...

@Paula Pierce - Sorry Amazon & eBay units are mostly knockoffs ;-{ If you can return it to get your money back and get the real Apple unit.

I've added a picture of one of the things these knockoffs damages.

I just wonder if that's the problem because the issue started before I got the new cord. The other cord was also a knockoff, now that I think about it, but lasted 2 years.

@Paula Pierce - Thats not uncommon ;-{ The knockoffs will do a decent job topping off a battery (one thats not discharged too deeply) but once pushed to charge a deeply discharged battery the problems starts up.

Well, we got a new, authentic apple charging cord, and now the green light on it doesn't blink, which is an improvement, and the charging indicator on the computer shows it is charging, but the battery level itself hasn't budged and it stays at 81%.... Coconut battery now says the date of the battery is 1979 and the tempis -272 degrees celsius! I'm so confused.
