How do I charge the drone
I have had it on the shelf for a long while. I forgot how to chare the battery

Any micro USB to USB cable (supplier example only) will do e.g. phone charging cable.

Flat out lie. The micro USB doesn't fit the dx2 sharper image drone
Not quite.
3 different types of charging ports were used in DX2 rechargeable drones (there are non rechargeable DX2 drones as well that use AA size Alkaline batteries),
The type of charge cable plug depends which type was used in a particular drone.
One is a micro USB2.0 the other two are proprietary

Hi,
Here’s a link to the relevant section of the user manual that shows how to charge the battery in the drone.
You may find that the battery may not charge at all as it may have been depleted beyond recovery and will have to be replaced.
If it doesn’t start to charge leave it on charge for 2-3 hours to see if this will “kick start” it back into charging. If it does allow it to fully charge before use.
