Screen Tearing and Low Battery

NOTE: Not a Dell Venue 8 7840

Hello, Recently bought a Used Dell Venue 5050 (Not Pro) it booted up fine then Last Night i started getting Screen Tearing wondering if its the battery or the O.S.

Also its running android Lolipop

And Battery was only holding 25% Charge as of Last Night

@born7 screen tearing should not be a battery issue. That is usually caused by the OS and/or memory. Try to charge your battery completely and then reset your software.

Then what would you recommend how do i run tests for bad memory or O.S. on Android or do i have to connect it a computer and factory reset it

Also how do you go about factory resetting this model of Dell Venue (5050) (Non Pro)

now this "Battery was only holding 25% Charge" could definitely be a battery issue.
