Slide to unlock will not work

Slide to unlock will not work. It must not recognize that I am sliding my finger across to unlock. Same thing with the slide to power off.

From Googling it would appear that a hard reset maybe in order. Before you do it though, suggest you read up on the topic as it will restore your phone to it's factory settings.

Sounds like an unresponsive screen, maybe it was bumped at some stage. Reseating connctors in place would be the first step to take..if that doesn’t work second step would be attempting to replace the screen.
