How do I fix staticy volume knob?
On my headset, there’s a few spots on the volume control knob where one side will get loads of a scratchy static and cut out all sound going to that side. I’ve taken the housing apart several times throughout the years and ran the knob back and forth to try to clear this up, but I’m fed up and want to fix it for real now.
I couldn’t find anything here, but doing some digging I think I found an answer, and wanted to share it at the very least: cleaning the potentiometer. Other suggestions are welcome still!
