MacBook Pro 13" (2017)
Can I replace the SSD in a Macbook Pro 13” (2017) easy?

If you are talking about the 2017 13” model with function keys instead of the Touch Bar then yes, it’s possible! If you have a 2017 MBP with a Touch Bar then sadly, no it’s not possible.
Here’s the part you need, it’s out of stock sadly on both sites. I suggest requesting a stock alert on both sites and buying it where it is available first.

Here’s a take-apart video tutorial if needed.

Thanks Aaron, I meant the function key model.... very helpful
Well, yes & no! The Function models have a removable SSD the Touch Bar models don’t. Here’s the two teardown’s so you can see for your self:
For the Function Key models here’s one source: Generation 5 SSD’s

@danj great minds think alike! ;-)
Also, Happy Thanksgiving!
@ajcooke01 - Thanks! Had a nice lamb steak with all the fixings! Did you check the Mayan ruins out?
@danj Unfortunately there are no significant ruins around the Puerto Vallarta area. My parents are paranoid to leave the resort area too... I tried to convince them otherwise but it was to no avail. However I did some jetskiing on the ocean today & fixed the iMac used for checking people into their hotel rooms at the front desk. It was infected with malware & needed a clean install of macOS! Got it back up and running and got myself 30$ in return!
@ajcooke01 - Sorry to hear that. The East coast has more to explore (Yucatan) The Black Jaguar of Mayan Ruins. Next year you should get them to go to the East coast.
@danj When I was really little (2 years old) my parents took me to Cancun instead of Puerto Vallarta. They like Puerto Vallarta because the resort we stay at is nicer and the ocean has waves in it (unlike Cancun).
