Replaced rear case but phone getting really hot?
I recently replaced the volume flex cable and the rear housing, everything else was kept the same and i was wondering, does there have to be a weird kind of material under the loudspekaer module?

I think it's there to ensure the loudspeaker has contact with the speaker connection pads on the charging port.
Phone getting hot, double check if any cables are torn or not plugged in fully.

I dont know if you can see but the picture on the right shows my rear housing which i originally had but on that highlighted place there are bits of black which are the flex from the loudpeaker and i dont know if that is the issue.
Shouldn't be the issue, the charging port assemblies have adhesive behind them to stick onto the housing.
