Optical Drive not showing and ejecting.

My laptop is not showing the disk icon in my computer. Also the eject button isn't working, no light is glowing. Please help me.

Hi,

Check in BIOS that the ODD (Optical Disc Drive) is showing up there.

If not it may be that the drive has become disconnected from the motherboard or if it is connected OK that it is faulty and needs to be replaced
