Can I get around this?

The phone tells me that it needs an account that was previously synced before the reset and I do not have one that was in this phone my friend gave it to me he had made a couple of false accounts because his girlfriend kept getting into them so he gave me the phone and I tried to enter my own account but this is the wall I have hit and I need to somehow someway be able to have service on this phone from Boost

shut it down and then hold the power button and volume down (or up) for fifteen seconds. it should vibrate three times. then you can use the volume keys to navigate to the restore to factory settings option
