Marantz SR7010 in Protection mode
My Marantz SR7010 receiver goes into protection mode. The unit turns on for a few seconds and then turns off and then goes into protection mode. I do not know what the cause of this issue is.

I found the service manual here on this lovely page

From diagnosis, mine appears to either have burned out speaker output drivers, OR a dead digital board.
When the power supply to the output board is disconnected, it WILL power up and could likely work as a processor only (as in, with external amplifiers)
To confirm if it's the transistors/MOSFET's will take a bit more disassembly than I'm ready to do just now. But if it is to be brought back to life, that would be the hope.
As the digital board appears to be unobtanium.
