Volume Control Via Remote Is Out of Control

Hi, the volume control on my Yamaha RX-V473 receiver works fine using the dial on the device however when adjusting the volume via remote it will scroll itself either to full or mute.

Its not the remote as I tried using a Logitech Harmony 300 and it does the same thing.

@davidw if your remote is not faulty, you most likely have a bad IR board.

Are you sure your remote is the correct one? Did you train the harmony from that remote?
