Charging port on camera
Is the charging port that the power cord plugs into replaceable?
The cord does not stay plugged in.

Patrick Mooney, I had no luck finding a replacement charge port for your R600, You could try gently to pry the male connector apart to make it a little wider to fit snugger into the port(just be careful, not too much). The other alternative would be to purchase an external charger for the battery which can be found by google search (Canon Vixia HF R600 external battery charger) or contact Canon to see if charge port/part may be available. Posted some links below for external chargers and Canon support site. Good luck.

Hey Patrick, can't thank you enough for your suggestion: "You could try gently to pry the male connector apart to make it a little wider to fit snugger into the port(just be careful, not too much)."
I had tried carefully doing the same to the port on the camera but the cord would still often fall out with any vibration or bump. For some reason I never thought to try carefully doing what you suggested to the male connector.
What I specifically did was to carefully widen (slightly bend out) both of the short sides of the connector as well as slightly raise the bottom "tongue" piece.
Again, thanks as I had pretty much stopped using the thing as it was so much work to charge it.
