Glass or Digital Screen?

The actual glass is not cracked but it is electronically cracked. Is it part of the glass? Do I need to order the glass to replace the electronic screen? I dropped the unit and part of the screen is black and other parts of the screen look electronically shattered. Not sure what to order.

I know this is an old question.

I ordered the glass and LCD screen beneath it as a unit.

$45 on an on-line auction site, did the repair for free!
