My Battery Will Not Charge
My charger fits loosely and jiggles around in the charging port. It will only work when it is in at certain angles. Does this mean that the charging port should be replaced.

To look into replacing the port please refer first to the troubleshooting page on the site.
( www.ifixit.com/Wiki/Canon_Vixia_HF_R500_troubleshooting ) The easiest way to address the issue is by first checking the charging cord, Replacing the cord if it is damaged is much easier than replacing the port on the camera. If the port is defective you will have to check with local computer/ camera repair shop to seek replacing the port. The port is typically soldered in, making replacing it difficult.
