Micro USB port damaged
Plugged phone in last night, noticed intense heating around charging port and lead. After testing that the chord was fine, I saw some rust/copper looking metal at the bottom of my micro usb port. No matter what I have done, the phone will not recognise charging cable. Do I need to replace the charging port, or is there some other solution?
