do you mean the stand ?
i don't have the manual for the 21.5" model - bt i think it's pretty much the same as on the other models
first you have to diassemble almost everything from the iMac
i think the logic board guide fit's best for that.
than you have to remove 7 t10 screws from the stand and than you can separate the stand from the clutch mechanism and rear housing. reassembling is the same thing - only reversed ;-)
