How to remove white marks from iPhone 5 screen?

I think that you could try putting a new layer of the film on the unit. The film causes the backlight to diffuse evenly and the damage to it is what is causing the brighter spots on the screen. I would start with buying a broken screen assembly with the film intact and attempt to move it over to the one on your device.

The problem is the liquid is under that black film and it causing the white spots

If you attempt to clean it be sure to use 99% alcohol so it all evaporates. I had the same issue on a 4 and this took care of it. but im not sure if the alcohol will mess with the film on the 5.

What you need is a new backlight (if you have solder handy)

Backlight is very easy to remove. it's only held by sticky tape around the edges.

You need to remove the tape that covers the connection to the LCD.

Use a solder to detach the backlight.

then reverse the process to attach the new one.

Dont forget to clean the back of the LCD before you put on the new backlight.

otherwise you need a new LCD assembly.

plus you need a new rear camera ..

basically the liquid you used had sipped through the gap on power button.

underneath that power button, is the rear camera and the LCD.

it sounds like your rear camera is now liquid damaged.

it seems that solution managed to slip inside the reflector of lcd assembly and after evaporating srain marks is there in reflector and this is causing uneven reflection of backlight of lcd on display and this white spot is appearing so i suggest remove display assembly completely and submerge display assembly in 99% isopropyl cleaning solution and move display assembly back and fourth it will flush out the dried strain marks and cleanup the reflector without harming lcd display and after few minutes or 1hour max into the exposure of heat isopropyl solution will evaporates and display will work fine and marks should be gone .
