have you checked to make sure the pins are securly seated on the motherboard? If it wont charge usually indicates that either the battery is faulty or the pins have become separated from the motherboard.
make sure the dock connector is seated properly. be sure to check to see if there is any debri or corrosion. Also try cleaning the connectors that touch the vibrating motor. make sure the screws are fastened all the way down and there is no corrosion. Other than those two things there really isn't much you could've done to create this error. is it up to date on software?
The best thing to try is to take the back off and disconnect the battery. try pressing down on the back of the iphone just above the apple and to the left. this is where the connector for the LCD is. It may have worked itself loose. Hopefully you can reseat it without having to do this. If that doesn't work and you dont want to take it apart, try plugging it into itunes and put it into the recovery mode. there are posts here that can walk you through that.
It sounds like you may have damaged the battery connector to the motherboard. Try pushing down on the battery connector and powering it on. you may need to plug it in while doing this. If it turns on this is your issue. if not check the 6 contacts to the motherboard around the battery connection to make sure it hasn't been damaged. Let me know if this helps
Hey there try this... make sure that the metal contact that sticks up near the battery is connecting to the back of the iphone. slightly bend it upwards so you know it makes contact. Ive had this issuse several times when replacing parts and this was always the case. Hope it helps. Simple fix
you will need to take it apart and check to see if the connector has popped loose. if so simply pop it in. You can follow the guide provided on the webpage. if you have not popped it loose then it will need replacing.
try this... pull the back off and press down hard on the battery connection. then try to turn it on. I just had this problem. when you take off the battery connector frequently there is a possibility that you can damage one of the prongs that connects it to the motherboard. if so the device isn't getting the right power. by holding it down this will force the connections together. if this works let me know cause there are 2 things you can do to fix it.
is it ATT or Verizon? if it is ATT version sometimes the metal braket on the heat shield can be the issue. If it is still there try putting a small piece of Aluminum foil over it. then put the long screw back in. This worked for me.
