Screen is white when I power off, and stays on until I remove battery

Your screen is always white? What happens when you turn your computer on? Does the normal data show up on the screen?

Yes, everything works normal except for screen problem

Jerry, its your BIOS that tells the PWM when to turn the backlight off or on.

Try to flash or update your BIOS. Check on here for a BIOS update and how to do it. Hope this helps, good luck.
