hey
I just recently bought a new note 10.1 and wanted to insert my macro sim with adaptor so i can use my inlimited data on tablet .But as i removed the sim after small pieces of metal came out as well and now i need to replace the sim card tray and i cant find any directions or manuals how i will do it

You broke the SIM card reader by installing the SIM card directly without the needed tray. The issue now is in order to fix it, you will need to do component level repair, or use it as a wifi only tablet.
iFixit doesn't have a guide for this. You will need to find one online or refer to the teardown to replace it.

Do you remember what the part number was. I have the same issue.
not broken, just lost
Easy way:
Find a plug-in new sim tray part
Harder way: ( I am about to do this):
Carefully desolder sim tray shield,
find some unusable old phone matching inner socket
transplant it in place of the broken one
solder back
