Power Issues
Faulty power adapter/Micro USB cable
Ensure the power adapter is fully plugged in and is receiving a current. To ensure the issue is with the charger, obtain a compatible charger and if that doesn't charge, then the adapter/charging cable is faulty. Purchasing a replacement adapter or Micro USB cable is a simple fix and does not require a device tear down.
Faulty Battery
If the tablet only powers up when the adapter is plugged in, regardless of charging time, then the battery is faulty. Replacing the battery will require the device to be taken apart.
If the device will not charge

Replacing the battery will require the device to be taken apart.
Improper charging speed
If the device charges slowly, not at all when plugged in, or the charging cord is loose in the port, check to make sure there is no debris in the charging port. Cleaning the charging port is a quick simple fix and will not require a device tear-down.
Information on cleaning the charging port can be found here
Improper Device Updating

Out of Storage
If you are unable to install new apps or download new data, you may be running out of storage space on your device.
Delete unnecessary data
Running out of storage space can be caused by downloading too many apps or having large media files, such as movies, stored on your device. One way to get more storage space on your device is to delete some of your existing data. For information on data that is commonly deleted to free up storage space, see this guide.
Buy new Micro SD card
Additionally, you can install a Micro SD card to give your device extra storage space. Your device comes with a pre-existing Micro SD card port that allows you to move data to a Micro SD card to free up storage space. If you already have an Micro SD card and it continues to run out a space, buy a Micro SD card with more storage. The port for the Micro SD card can be found on the bottom of the device on the outside. It can be easily installed by pushing the Micro SD card into the port.
Instructions to replace the Micro SD card can be found here
