Droid Maxx screen is shattered
Droid Maxx glass is broken/shattered and prevents you from visualizing the screen clearly
Broken screen
See if your Droid Maxx will turn on and operate normally. In most cases, the Droid Maxx is still functional.
Droid Maxx is frozen or unresponsive
Droid Maxx is not working properly when trying to use any of the functions of the phone.
Restart Droid Maxx
If your Droid Maxx home screen freezes or your device malfunctions in a way that prevents further utilization you can force a reboot or restore. To reboot your device, press the power and volume down buttons simultaneously for approximately 10 seconds. Keep in mind, this force restore feature will not delete any information on your Droid Maxx.
Very low battery
It is possible for a Droid Maxx to become unresponsive if the battery drops to an extremely low level. Plug the Droid Maxx into your computer or wall charger and allow it to charge for at least 20 minutes before using it again.
Droid Maxx will not charge
Droid Maxx is not charging when USB cord is plugged in to an AC power source
Bad cable connection
Check the USB cable for damage and dirt, especially at the ends. Then try using the wall charger, as this will provide greater power input than the computer/USB.
Broken charger or USB cord
Try using different chargers to see if you may have a problem with your charger or cord.
Damaged/bad USB connector
Inspect the USB connector of the Droid Maxx for damage. If the dock connector is broken, you will have to replace it.
Droid Maxx will not turn on
Droid Maxx screen is unresponsive when holding down the Power Button
Drained/dead battery
Plug your Droid Maxx into your computer or wall adapter to charge. If it does not charge when connected to either of these, you probably have a dead battery. The battery will need to be replaced with a new one.
Bad display
It is possible that it appears nothing is happening because the display is bad. If the Droid Maxx sounds like it is working properly but nothing is visible, it is possible the display is bad and must be replaced.
Weak or lost wireless connections
Droid Maxx Wi-fi, Bluetooth, or Network Reception communication capabilities are not working properly or disabled.
Dirty antenna grounds
If your Droid Maxx has been disassembled before, it's possible that finger oils were left on the grounding locations for the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth antennas. These oils will cause grounding issues for the antennas, which could lead to a weak signal or no connectivity at all. Be sure to clean all grounding points with an electronics cleaning solution before reassembling your Droid Maxx to prevent grounding issues.
No audio or distorted audio through speakers or headphones
Droid Maxx speakers’ sound quality is low or no audio output at all
Bad headphones/speakers
It's unlikely your headphones or speakers are bad, but it's worthwhile to eliminate these as the source of your problem at the beginning. Try your Droid Maxx with another set of headphones or speakers just to make sure that the problem is with the Droid Maxx.
Bad audio jack
The most likely cause of audio output problems on Droid Maxx is a bad audio-out jack. If you have determined that the problem does not lie in your external speakers, you should replace the headphone jack.
Restore Droid Maxx
The Droid Maxx is behaving erratically, or nothing else in this guide seems to solve a software issue. *NOTE: You will permanently lose all your data
If your Droid Maxx is behaving erratically or it becomes unresponsive you can attempt an External Factory Restore. Please note, all your Droid Maxx settings will be defaulted to factory, so make sure you have a backup for all your data.
To perform an external reset first make sure your Droid Maxx is charged since the reset process will take time. Turn off the phone and press and hold the volume up and volume down buttons down at the same time and press the power button. Once you do this, several boot options will show in your screen. Please use the volume down button to scroll down, find the recovery option and press the volume up button to select this option. Next, a Motorola logo will show in your screen followed by an exclamation symbol indicating your have performed the previous steps correctly. Press and hold the volume down button after you see this mark for 10 seconds and while holding this tap and release the volume up button to finish.

Phone refuses to charge. Cables and charger are fine because they can charge other devises like normal, phone refuses to charge over 42% and is losing charge, while charging by 1% every 12 hours. I charge it most commonly when the phone is on, but I figured it would take a better charge when turned off. It is still off and upon turning the phone on, it still showes no charge was taken.
