Won't turn on
No signs of life when you press the power button.
The battery may be dead
This is the most likely cause and all you would need to do is charge the device.
Charger not working
If the device isn't charging, plug in a different device with the same charging port, because the problem could be the charger. If that device isn't charging, then it is the charger that is the problem. you would need to buy a new charger.
The battery has gone bad
Similar issue with a shorter battery life, a battery gets worse with age and can stop working at any point. You have to replace the battery.
Motherboard is faulty
A bad motherboard can cause many problems with this being one of the problems. If any of the problems above aren't the cause, replace the motherboard.
Slower than usual
The device is running slower than normal.
Battery going bad
A battery gets worse with age and can cause the device to run slower as one of the side effects of that. You'll have to replace it.
Bad Motherboard
A faulty motherboard can be the cause of many problems. It can also be the cause of many errors as well and will need to be replaced.
Shorter battery life
The device can't be used as long.
Battery getting older
A battery can get worse with age and use, leading to a shorter battery life. Replacing the battery can fix this problem.
Audio not working or distorted
No sound coming out or is distorted
The device is muted
Check to make sure that the sound is on before taking any steps to replace anything.
The audio jack is clogged
The audio jack can get dirty and clogged with dust, dirt, etc. over time. You can clean it out with compressed air or something that won't damage the audio jack. like a pin or a brush.
The speakers are broken
The speakers could have been broken from being faulty or overused. The speakers will need to be replaced.
Faulty motherboard
The bad motherboard can cause a slew of problems. If you have multiple problems on top of this one, it is likely the motherboard needing to be replaced.
Screen shows nothing or distorted
The device turns on and nothing is on the screen or is distorted
The screen is broken
The screen can break from being too rough with the device (tossing/dropping it). It will need to be replaced.
Faulty motherboard
If this isn't the only problem, and you are experiencing more than one of these problems. Then the motherboard is to blame and will need to be replaced.
