Status display isn't lighting up
The status display does not indicate that the device is on.
Battery is dead
The status display may not respond because the battery is dead. In this case, the device just needs to be charged. If that doesn't work, the battery needs to be replaced. See Jabra CRUISER2 Battery Replacement
A bulb is out
One of the bulbs on the status display might be out. Open the device to replace the bulb with a new, functioning one. See Jabra CRUISER2 Status Display Replacement
Sound is distorted
There's sound coming from the device but it doesn't sound clear.
Dirt in the speaker
There might be some dust particles in the speaker, so you will need to clean the front plate of the device. If the sound distortion continues, open the device and take the speaker out to clean the actual speaker more intricately. See Jabra CRUISER2 Speaker Replacement
Unconnected or frayed wire
Open the device and make sure that all of the wires between the speaker and the motherboard are connected. See Jabra CRUISER2 Front Plate Replacement. Also, make sure that there is no fraying of the wires. If the wires are disconnected, simply reconnect them if possible. Otherwise, the wires will need to be replaced.
Device won't connect with FM stereo
The device won't connect properly to either a cellphone or the car radio.
Phone Bluetooth is turned off
The Bluetooth on the phone might not be turned on, causing a miscommunication between the devices. Go to your phone settings and turn on Bluetooth.
The FM stereo is set to the wrong frequency
The radio could be set on the wrong channel and/or the FM button is not turned on. Press the FM button and set your radio to the announced frequency.
Switch on motherboard doesn't function
Open the device and find where the switch that controls the Bluetooth is on the motherboard. It may need to be replaced. See Jabra CRUISER2 Motherboard Replacement.
Device won't turn on
The device just won't show any signs of life.
Battery is dead
The device may need to be charged. If that doesn't work, the battery needs to be replaced. See Jabra CRUISER2 Battery Replacement.
Battery is bad
The battery could be drained of all life and will not respond to the charger at all. In this case, a replacement may be necessary. See Jabra CRUISER2 Battery Replacement.
Battery is not properly connected to the device
The battery might have become dislodged from the device, so you will need to open the device and remove the motherboard to see if the battery is properly secured. See Jabra CRUISER2 Motherboard Replacement.
"On" switch isn't working
The “On” switch might not be connected to the motherboard anymore. In this case, you will need to open the device and reconnect it to the underside of the motherboard.
Status display works but sound won't come out
The device will turn on but no sound can be heard from the speakers.
Speaker is disconnected
Open the device and check to make sure all of the wires that run from the speaker to the motherboard are connected and not frayed. See Jabra CRUISER2 Front Plate Replacement.
Magnet isn't functioning properly
The magnet on the speaker may need to be replaced, so you will need to open up the device and take out the speaker to check the magnet’s condition. See Jabra CRUISER2 Speaker Replacement.
Charger doesn't work
The device is unable to be charged using its charger.
Battery is bad
The battery could be drained all of life, and not respond to the charger at all. In this case, a replacement battery may be necessary. See Jabra CRUISER2 Battery Replacement.
Charging cable doesn't work
The charging cable may be frayed. In this case, purchase a replacement charger.
Charger head is broken
The head of the charger may be bent out of shape. In this case, a replacement charger should be purchased.
Charging port is broken
The port on the device where the charger needs to be plugged in may be bent out of shape or be missing a prong. If so, the port needs to be replaced.
