Flip your chromebook over and unscrew the 8 screws on the bottom. Flip it over and then remove the keyboard. You will then see the keyboard ribbon housed in the middle of the chromebook and connected to the keyboard. Disconnect the ribbon and reconnect it. Before any cleaning can begin first turn off the chromebook. To clean the surface of the laptop get a surface putty and begin to rub it all over the keyboard to pick up dust and debris. Now get a screwdriver and pop the keys on your keyboard so you may get a towel to clean the keypads. This isn't requirement but I would recommend getting a can of compressed air and blowing it into the vents and ports of your chromebook.
