The Echo is Out of Range of the Router
Your device may be too far from the Wi-Fi router; try moving the echo closer to the source. other devices( such as microwaves, baby monitors, and other wireless devices) may be causing interference, move the Echo away from these sources.
Check the Wi-Fi Password
Make sure that the password being entered is the correct password and that is being entered correctly; most passwords are case sensitive.
Faulty Router
The problem may be stemming from your Wi-Fi router. Try rebooting your router by turning it off for 30 seconds, and turning it back on. Reconnect the echo to the Wi-Fi once it is restored. This will disconnect any devices currently connected to the Wi-Fi.

Alexa “Doesn’t Understand” Command
After saying a command, alexa says that she cannot complete the command or did not understand the command.
You are Speaking Too Quietly or Unclearly
Be sure to say your command clearly and at a reasonable volume. Also, make sure that there is not too much background noise, as it can hinder Alexa’s ability to understand and respond.
There is Interference
Make sure the device is at least 8 inches from walls and other objects. The device may be experiencing interference from other wireless devices; move them away from these sources.
The Commands are Too Complex
Rephrase your command in simpler terms. The more simple the command, the more likely the echo will have the correct response.
Echo Activates Without Command
The echo wakes up without having been commanded.
Your Echo Settings are Too Broad
Check your echo dot for the command triggers. If there are too many, then Alexa may begin to respond to outside noise.
